Actually, seeing this rocking some Fleetfeather Sandals and going toe to toe with Marit Lage would be pretty friggin epic. And not a Marit Lage summoned by Vampire Hexmage, just one you ramped into with ice counters.

Not only mythic, it should've been a legendary creature. THE colossus of akros.
Also, if a 20/20 isn't enough, vorel will make it bigger in a pinch. Giant creatures, onward

I have a little pewter skull about the size of a golf ball that I use to represent when this thing goes monstrous, it seems fitting. I always love saying "Either you block with everything or you die".

I adore this one. Sadly, it pretty much tops the list of cards that will soon be banned.

Another fine candidate for the Tron and Post decks.

Timmy enough to love it. Reasonable enough to not cast it vs. friends who don't have any ways of dealing with it. Seriously, indestructible is a very strong keyword, but also incredibly unfair if your opponents don't have a way of dealing with it.

Thoughts on combos posted:
Fling: WHAT FLUNG IT!? I want THAT creature...
But... O_O Wow, now THAT is a game-ender. Colossus to the face.
Vs. Darksteel Colossus: Punting time.
Vs. Blightsteel Colossus though... only the first hit gets through. (Infect...)
Combine this with Tainted Strike though... {Monstrous} Blightsteel Colossus of Akros. CRAP.
The combos... Sac it for: Lifegain/lifeloss/mana/damage/etc. All at numbers of 10 or 20.
Master Transmuter (LOVE that girl)... pops this down EASY (return the Seat of the Synod you used for the mana). If wielding 4 Training Grounds... Monstrous costs . That's 3 mana total after playing Master Transmuter (a turn 4 card at the lastest).

TwoOvergrown Battlement, one Sylvan Caryatid, one Wall of Tanglecord and this on the board allowed me to turn this bad boy monstrous and swinging for the win. Even if I don't have the heavy ramp early, he's something that's going to trigger evolve and help bring out a big Prime Speaker Zegana.

Give him a Grafted Exoskeleton and he's literally double Blightsteel Colossus. Let's hope New Phyrexia never tries to invade Theros.
