Personally I don't care that this is worse than Oblivion Ring, because I don't play decks where I O-ring my own permanents. If you have such a deck, just keep playing that card. I take what I get.

I guess this is the permanent replacement to oblivion ring. I'm down. The art is sick and the effect is more intuitive. On top of that, I now have 2 oblivion rings if I want to in my EDH decks.
