I'm not sure why it specifies that I may tap or untap the target creature. I'm having trouble imagining what could go on the stack that, by the time this ability resolves, I change my mind about whether I wanted to tap or untap the thing.

Theoretically, this with a Kiora's Follower or a Voyaging Satyr, a Nykthos and 5 devotion to blue means infinite mana. It' s janky and difficult, but possible in Mono-blue devotion that splashes green.

This+magus of the candelabra+nykthos, shrine to nyx if nykthos gives 8 or more devotion infinite mana... Well sh!t at least I tried
