i'm not sure whether it's finally good or bad that they didn't ever print equal versions for the other colors...
of course it would be pretty nuts for blue to have it in eternal formats, and it wouldn't suit that nicely to white regarding thr color pie either, but i'd have loved to see a green (while notable having almost no mana accel in form of instants) and especially a red version of it. Imagine Seething Song as a timeshifted version of Dark Ritual...

Dark ritual was bad for black. As long as it was around, black would get shafted on any other 1 drop because it had this, requiring any black player to auto include this in every deck.
