Pretty cool deck in modern with this. it ramps quickly to Enduring Ideal, then Dovescape, and Meishin, the Mind Cage and this card in whatever order is appropriate.
@Ragamander Not really. You would still rack up poison counters that wouldn't go away every turn, and that could kill you.

My question is this: If my opponent has the form of the dragon out, is it legal to flip over willbender and redirect the 5 damage to a different single target? Is the 5 damage to a player or creature from form of the dragon considered a spell or ability? I cant find anywere if an enchantment has abilites or what else they could be considered.

@Scott... it is a triggered ability (Triggers on your upkeep starting)
@Pedro... I think what he was trying to convey the fact that they have to do damage two seperate times each turn... each turn you get that five life back, meaning that you will once again absorb the combat damage...
To Clarify the combo... All combat damage is dealt at once (unless there is first or double strikers on the field) lets use do damage as an example... so your life total is >0 so the dammage is dealt normally... 5-20 = -15. At the end of the turn, you gain 20 life. The only way you ill accumulate poison is if they use burn to deal 5 damage to you before combat, use burn after dealing the five damage in combat, or dealing at least 5 first strike damage. (Multiple combats, or just using infect creatures work as well0
