This is even better than you think in a Cleric deck because of the many tap abilities they have. Now you can attack and still wield the mighty taps!

"Onslaught wasn't a block anymore where creature type bonuses were made global,
about every other card you'll find in this block will enhance the creatures on your side only."

Not so. You're thinking of the five Warchiefs and perhaps Bloodstoke Howler.
Actually almost everything was double-edged, like Crusade as opposed to Honor of the Pure, or every older tribal lord.
Aven Brigadier
Ixidor, Reality Sculptor
Goblin Lookout
Bladewing the Risen
Mobilization
Shared Triumph
Cover of Darkness
Steely Resolve
the 5 Gempalms
and of course, Slivers

I hate to say this but it is strictly better than Pillarfield Ox. :P

Also good in Goblin decks.

@Duskdale_Wurm: Not if your opponents play Clerics as well ;)
I wonder why that is, though. Onslaught wasn't a block anymore where creature type bonuses were made global,
about every other card you'll find in this block will enhance the creatures on your side only.
