One big difference between this ability and deathtouch though, this guy doesn't have to deal damage to make it work. So cards like the classic Lure work quite well with him.

Still, this guy's not quite as good as Thicket Basilisk.

How spoiled we are with deathtouch right now. we even get it on 3/3 creatures for 1G :p
