This is a zombie raptor. That's all I have to say.

You could always discard Brain Gorger and/or Grave Scrabbler and play the madness cost.
Also Zombies with unearth, like Dregscape Zombie or Grixis Slavedriver can help putting some pressure on your opponent.
Turn 3: face down Putrid Raptor
Turn 4: Discard Grixis Slavedriver morph into 4/4, unearth Slavedriver for another hasty 4/4, attack for 8
Putrid Raptor seems like a fine card for a mid-range Zombie deck that tries to be slightly more creative than "Smash Face With Undead Warchief"

Unlike most other morph cards that had a mana requirement to flip up, this could be turned face up the run you played it. So you could have a 3rd turn 4/4, which is not too shabby at all. Not competitive by any means, but hey- it was fun in casual.
Also the card you discard is a zombie, so it's not like it would be completely wasted by going into your graveyard.

Oh? you block my 2/2 with your Rhox War Monk? And I'm tapped out? Discard a Zombie. Flip. Bye.

Can be easily played in Mono-blue with Skaab Ruinator and other Skaabs, let alone older blue zombies or B/U zombies.

Yet another merely average card that Inquest Gamer hailed as the best thing since sliced bread. It was a good magazine, but they had serious issues with objectivity.
