Great creature, sort of a Yotian Soldier with a lifegain focus. Makes an execellent early drop, and the sacrifice-based ability means that you can attack, block, and then use this as a response to removal if needed.

Bottle Gnomes are a good tool for control decks to pace against any kind of weenie deck out there, often giving you a couple extra turns to set things up. Not to mention they are colorless and can kill small guys. Cheers!

Great card. Not worth 4 stars, but definately worth at least 3.5. 1/3 can block plenty of early game drops, even kill smaller stuff. And when its about to die, you basically get 3. Completely ruins an oppoennt's early game lead (as this guy starts blocking and then gains back the 3 life you lost from their 2nd and 3rd turn swings).
I hope Wizard's makes Bottle Gnome sodas...I'd so buy them...haha...also, a great Foglio piece.
