Wait it says "The removed card is imprinted on this Artifact" right?? So tell me this, if I play this and choose.. it doesn't matter, any thing, let's say Venser, the Sojourner.. Does that mean I now have an artifact that taps for either Island or Plains, PLUS its still a Planeswalker that has all the abilities and what not and all of that happened for free?? Other than exiling the hard copy of it?? If so, this puppy is sick NASTY!!

I never liked this or mox diamond drawback. Ive never been a tourney player either.
I guess its great with Blue card draw, to replace the lost cards and still be ahead of your opponent.

I believe Misthollow Griffon could be casted from exile without damaging the imprint effect, Mox still produces mana.

It's best value lies in either dumping a multi colour card or playing it in a mono deck - 2 or 3 colour decks will likely suffer with this card, as you will face the dilemma of choosing which type of mana you won't need after tossing a card...

No, you'd break the Mox doing that. From imprint's rulings:
"If all cards exiled by an imprint ability somehow leave the exile zone, or if a card isn't exiled by an optional imprint ability, or if the ability failed to exile a card because it was countered, then it is possible for an imprint ability to have no exiled card to refer to. In this case, the linked ability associated with the imprint ability has no card values to refer to and will only do as much as possible. It may do nothing at all."
Imprint needs to be able to refer to the imprinted card with each use, or it will function as though no card has been imprinted. In which case:
12/1/2004 If no card is imprinted on Chrome Mox, the Mox can't add mana to your mana pool. It can't add colorless mana to your mana pool.

This would have been awesome with Transguild Courier if not for the anti-artifact clause...
