I don't see how this card is of any use. Also why did Wizards put it in a pre-con when Mirrodin was still relevant?

vary bad it is powreful and has flying with nice flavor text but still you lose so mush life

They very clearly gave it a downside. I can't quite see what upside it has, though. Black has dozens of more efficient suicide critters.

This precursor to Necrogen Scudder looks like a riff on Wretched Anurid, but it's also part of a common/uncommon/rare vertical cycle in Fifth Dawn: Blind Creeper, Ebon Drake, Desecration Elemental.

As not-so-good as this card is, I just can't help but love it. Cool art, cool name, and he's one of those cards that takes some serious thinking to actually use. 5/5
