Its funny how Xantcha could never say Yawgmoths name in the book. He was always the "Ineffable One".

Excellent in B/W control with Light of Day. It does however make your opponent's creatures immune to many black removal spells like Doom Blade or Terror.

Just like Carnophage_4ever wrote, I cannot see why black mage would play this. Light of Day in a UW control and this splashed in I understand

I like to use this with Crusading Knight and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in a W/B Pestilence deck, giving it multiple win conditions. Oh, you have seven lands? Here's a 9/9 unblockable and take a few from Pesto while you're at it, kthxbai!
Also works well with Devout Lightcaster - nice extra creature removal plus another prot black for your pesto fun.

Combine with Teysa, Orzhov Scion and every creature you lose becomes a flying black 1/1 that reappears every time it would die. While this enchantment makes everything monoblack and as a result nullifies her exile ability it offers you infinite sacrifices for any purpose you may need.

great with dark betrayal if their creatures can be targeted/destroyed, trouble is drawing this thing and having nothing else to go with it, it's too conditional although a lot of decks are built that way (reanimator or sneak and show) so if you can get it to be reliable then WHATEVER just pack a few leyline of sanctity in your sideboard for burn/combo
wish people would get a little more creative with things like this instead of always using netdecks
