This makes 4 cards that destroy/remove from the game all permanents with a certain expansion symbol. City in a Bottle, Golgothian Sylex, and Apocalypse Chime are the others.

With Bringer of the White Dawn, you can remove Magic from the game, one set at a time.

@keiyakins: Well, as you said Alpha doesn't actually have an expansion symbol, so the point is moot here. I do think Alpha is considered its own set, though.
Also note that duel decks, From the Vault, promos, and multiplayer products are not sets either. For what that's worth.

So printings from early core sets (without expansion symbols) are strictly better than later printings in silvered games? Interesting... Also, is "Alpha" a set, or is "Limited" a set?
