Relevant cards in play:
1 Tolarian Academy
1 Minamo, School at Water's Edge
1 Candelabra of Tawnos
1 Leyline of Singularity
3 different Artifacts of your choice
- Tap Academy for {U}{U}{U}{U}
- Spend {U} to tap Minamo to untap Academy ({U}{U}{U} floating)
- Spend {U}{U} to tap Candelabra to untap both Academy and Minamo ({U} floating)
- Spend {U} to tap Minamo to untap Candelabra ({0} floating)
- Tap Academy for {U}{U}{U}{U}
- Spend {U}{U} to tap Candelabra to untap Academy and MInamo ({U}{U}) floating)
It should repeat itself here for as much blue mana as you need at this point, if my calculations are correct.
Annoying to set up, but it would be awesome to see it work.

There is absolutely no reason not to play this in a blue Commander deck. NONE WHATSOEVER!

Almost strictly better than an Island.

In Modern, this cycle is by far the closest R&D has ever come to developing nonbasic lands strictly better than basic lands. According to Mark Rosewater (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/daily/mr65), being nonbasic isn't considered a large enough drawback to factor into the "strictly better" discussion -- so, it comes down to whether being legendary is enough of a drawback.
That's highly debatable. If a blue deck has even one tappable legendary permanent it should switch out one Island for one Minamo without a second thought. The first Minamo is strictly better than an Island. It's just a question of the second, third, and fourth Minamos.

Am I the only one seeing this plus any of green's "When enchanted land taps, add one more mana" enchantments? I mean, it's literally a two card infinite mana combo. It can untap itself.
