That's a pretty clever design of mechanics, but that's not the best part of this card.

T1: Blood Crypt, Putrid Imp
T2: Discard anger. Dark Ritual, Island, this guy

Alternatively, you can do the same if you discard this guy, anger, and then unearth him.

You can swing T1 using the unearth method if you dark ritual that turn as well.

Swinging T1 or T2 with this guy, even if you used 2 other card to do it, is already card neutral and worth it. More worth it than the hypnotic specters in your deck as well.
