This doesn't need any combat trick that they probably already printed a card or cards for that gives the desired ability. They design things like that for the EXPRESS purpose of giving to guys like this. BUT- it does need one line that I wish they'd thought about:
"B.F.M. can block any number of creatures whose total power does not exceed its toughness."
So, really really really giant hordes of demonic elf tokens or saproling tokens or whatever will still get through, but most usual armies should be blockable by this guy. And then leave it up to the player to find out how to give it vigilance.
