Only when both cards appeared in a random draft did I realize how close a cousin this was to Mindwarper.

Mind Slash in creature form, while more vulnerable, could attack and block. For discard's sake I'd pick Mind Slash but Corpse Traders seem more powerful in limited.

Read the part about it being activated only at sorcery speed. Nonetheless, combine this with anything that can come back easily (Bloodghast, Reassembling Skeletons, any Undying/Persist creatures) and it's nice. It's expensive though if you're doing it more than once per turn...

in Black without any real drawback isn't very common. Ability is good, too.
@Fenix: You did read the card, right? Not only did it say "Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery." But this isn't removal. It's discard.
