I don't like because it destroys your lands too. I know if the amount of mana you and your opponent have easily favors your opponent, it's a good card to have, but othwise it's horrible.

Pussies. LD is awesome, and Desolation Angel is the sexist card in MTG.

Many people consider land destruction to be "unfun," but it's an integral component to Magic in all formats, from Standard all the way to Vintage.

Your mana base is just another resource that you have to protect if you want to win...just as Lightning Bolt zaps your life total and Hymn to Tourach mutilates your hand, land destruction screws up your mana base--and like any other strategy, it has its counter-strategies...if your friend is killing you with massive discard, you'd sideboard in Leyline of Sanctity. If your friend is killing you with Armageddon, you sideboard in Sacred Ground. What's the big deal?

Pretty good. Fairly skill intensive card because you gotta lay it at the right time, if you don't you just end up with a reset, boring game. Also really good if you have random stuff that adds mana on the field.
