Let's be honest here. This card makes Master Transmuter pretty much laugh in the face of every removal spell ever.

Play it with Merieke or one of the other guys with a powerful tap ability. Even the Skyward eye Prophets become very good with this in play.

Why don't you just use a straw? Then you don't need the giant's strength. Alright, maybe you don't have a straw; how about dipping a cup?

After spending much time searching for creatures that benefit the most from this card, here are my three favourite suggestions: Merieke Ri Berit allows you to immediately gain control of two different creatures for four mana, Mangara Of Corondor allows you to immediately remove two different permanents from the game for four mana, and Royal Assassin allows you to immediately destroy two different tapped creatures for four mana! :) It's funny how your opponent doesn't get to untap before your assassin starts working..

Edit: Thanks everyone for rating my last comment high, but I'd like to edit it simply to answer to CeremonialBathory's comment.. You tap Merieke Ri Berit to gain control of a creature, and then you untap her in response to her tapping ability: Because it hasn't resolved, there's no creature that you've gained control of yet, so the second ability does nothing! :) You re-tap her to gain c... Combos extremely well with the highest rated artifact creature of all time, Metalworker. having such a huge mana source without waiting a turn, and being able to tap him twice with the same card, definately a way to rev up an artifact deck to murder speed. Can't tell you how many times i've lost a game with the winning combo in my hand, just waiting to tap Metalworker. on top of that, think of all the elves that tap to get whatever for each elf in play. Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Immaculate Magistrate, Wellwisher, Timberwatch Elf, Wirewood Channeler...

But to get infinite mana you would need a way to untap Thousand-Year Elixir, wouldn't you? Still I'm thinking of using this card to make my Bloom Tender combo go off sooner.
