Surprisingly good card - shame that giants as a tribe are not that great and that a wizards deck generally doesn't like to have WW cost creatures.

If we're considering casual, this card gives lots and lots of life gain to a tribe that usually doesn't have much (Wizards). There are plenty of good reasons for a blue Wizard deck to splash white, and this one is worth considering for the sake of multiplayer, as you can't always counter every dangerous spell that comes your way.

Hmmm...
I can't help but think that Baneslayer Angel just makes him look bad. Rarity aside and all that. But I do like the giant tribal implications, and creatures are sometimes for more than just attacking and blocking.
