Seems this set has a lot of phenomenal cards...for sideboard, that is.
Wouldn't have been overpowered if it were a soldier, either, and would be much more useful if it were.

It's a bit too specific, but zombies have always been powerful, and vampires are looking like the new black standard tribe, especially with Zendikar thrown into the mix.
Skeletons are still garbage as usual. One day, wizards should make skeletons awesome.

Low and behold, vampires have become a recurring nightmare with the release of Zendikar and that block is only beginning.The mana cost is fair enough in my mind: 2 for 2/2 and 1 for the ability, but I would rather have had her be 
instead. Still, I've seen no better card up to the task of tackling vampires and she was my first choice in constructing an anti-black deck.

Not reprinted in Innistrad for the simple reason that it would hose it too strongly, and there are few (if any) Skeletons in the set. At least, that's my guess.
