@ dingophone: Yeah, I don't think Elite Inquisitor, Fiend Hunter, or Slayer of the Wicked quite fit the bill. 4.5/5 in the Innistrad block.

2/2 for 3, not efficient. ability, hoses a decent portion of black decks. problem: summoning sickness. the delay before you get to use this card, or playing it before they get there zombies etc. out is just the time they need to destroy this. can they do that reliably? oh yeah, they are playing black... 3/5

Also, if you have nothing to protect your creatures from black spells, congratulations, you lose to every black deck ever. Christ, learn to strategize. If every card was perfect on its own this would be the most boring game ever.

I know a guy with zombie deck, but the way we play we never reveal what deck we're using. Might be good in mono 5 player, just picking on black i guess.
