Very aggressive card in limited. You do not need to play red to make this card good. Strong interaction with infect and flyers.

Even if you are not playing red... probably the best trigon... that+3 power is just significant boost.. especially when playing infect...

Turn 1: Mountain, Memnite, Kuldotha Rebirth
Turn 2: Swamp, Trigon of Rage
Turn 3: Island, pass
Turn 4: Mountain. Swing with Goblin token. Cast Assault Strobe, Tainted Strike, Distortion Strike, and trigger the trigon. GG.

Works wonders in U/B infect/proliferate with Blighted Agent and Plague Stinger, although ideally, you wouldn't even need to add any counters to this guy.

Just orderes 4 of these for my mono black infect deck. occasionally, might even be able to rearm it with proliferate (if I haven't used the last counter ofc). Getting 3 cases of +3/+0 out of 1 card is incredible in infect. Can make your plague stinger hit like a skithiryx 3 times!
