I don't have this card, so I just walk over to the players that have him on the battleflied just so I can comment on his handsomeness.

I see he got a new helmet after garruk wildspeaker stole it from his legendary creature form. Although, being a UW planeswalker, maybe he just traveled back in time to when he had the helmet and gave it to himself. But then how would garruk steal it? argh paradoxes.

On the topic of Dr Who, anyone else think he looks like David Tennant

Most of the people who've rated Venser low clearly haven't truly seen what he can do in standard. Hopefully those people eat their words soon.

"For curiosity's sake, what happens when you bounce a card that has a "beginning of the end step" clause...like Putrefax? Does the "end step" trigger go off? Or can I constantly bounce my Putrefaxs and Ball Lightnings for reuse?"
It misses it's "at the beginning of the end step" trigger and will stay on the board. Then when your opponent ends their turn it will trigger and go to the Graveyard.

Umm...why is this not rated 5 stars? This is abusable as hell. You could easily make a standard deck around him and ETB effects: Wall of Omens, Aether Adept, Frost Titan, Sun Titan, Kemba's Skyguard, Kor Cartographer, Kor Hookmaster, Mnemonic Wall, Spreading Seas, and, of course, every single Ally.
And that's just in standard...
Geez, just rate it 5/5 people

The alternate card name for this was "Luke Perry, Planeswalker."

Love this guy. Makes any "Whenever this permanent enters the battlefield..." card much more effective.

His -1 ability seems wholly appropriate with Augury Adept.
