As long as you attack and lose the creatures that got hasted, the Mauler can give you a hasty attacker every turn. I'd say that's a good deal.
@ statiefreez: you can't pair something to something else if they're already soulbonded. I found that out the hard way.

This + Goldnight Commander (pair them) + Thatcher Revolt = Game over.

This guy and Cavern of Souls are a scary combination. Ever seen a hasty, uncounterable Hero of Bladehold come out of nowhere?

I don't understand why he isn't rated higher. He's only 3.8 at the time of this post, yet he's one of the scariest cards in a R/W Humans deck, which, by the way, destroys a lot of decks currently in standard. He can bond with a Silverblade Paladin to give you two 2 power double strikers swinging in on turn 3, or he can pair with a Hero of Bladehold for a whopping 7 power of creature, and even if he's the only one on the board, that's still 10 power (counting battle cry) swinging at your face. Hi titans.

Cant compare with piker because this is an uncommon. This guy is flexible, not a bad choice for casual play.

I like this guy for Limited. He says, "Your creatures have haste" as long as you aren't playing more than 1 each turn. And FIres of Yavimaya on a stick for 2 has generally been worthwhile in Limited.

This is honestly one of my favorite soulbonders. Haste on demand can be a very powerful thing, and can even steal the entire game for you. And if you slip this into Boros colors, you can also flicker him to give haste to just about whatever you want. The beautifully low cost is just icing on the cake; it fits right into the curve for a lot of red support. I'm glad I have a few.

I like this guy because he's still relevant late game. Drop him and a dragon at the same time and you can swing for the win no problem. Early game he can get some quick damage in too. Good in both limited and constructed, and one of the better uncommons in this block.

He's what makes Boros humans work right now. There are so many good combos for him and he's so cheap to play. Who can complain with swinging for 8 on turn three with Silverblade Paladin soul bonded? That's nasty. That's a relevant threat all game that begs for removal, and it's usually whatever he gets paired with that gets sent to the gy, leaving you with another free haste for your next big fatty.
