I like the fact that it only has First Strike when attacking, like when they were designing it they were all like "alright, give it ALL THE ABILITIES -- wait, First Strike? No, that's too much, only when attacking."

There's a new more fun way to throw this guy into play; Shadowborn Apostle. He's going into my Shirei EDH that has like 25+ apostles for sure.

Wow, this is the first demon I actually like. "Something" Void Demon was kinda cool, but this... but this... I like it a lot. XD
The art is my favorite amongst the demons as well. It reminds me of the Thinking Cap music video by MOFRESH. (Look it up on Youtube.)
Dropping with Kaalia or Deathrender and swingin' with Avacyn at his side.
The art alone makes it a 5/5 in my book. The crazy abilities are the icing on the cake.

If you add the casting cost of each Night Stalker together, then do the same for their power and toughness, voila! Spirit of the Night (which was originally called the Spirit of the Nightstalkers, but there wasn’t enough room on the card.)
Also, why "First strike when attacking"? Is it to encourage me to remember to be aggressive with this guy? Trust me, I had that one figured out on my own....
