The Fun way to do it is to put this on your opponent's creature.

This is a pretty fun card. It breaks two very important rules of white (don't play cards that only give you life, and don't play auras that are vulnerable to card disadvantage), but the fact that you can play it on enemy creatures really helps it out. It's especially fun in multiplayer when they're attacking someone else or blocking someone else's creature. I wouldn't call it an all-star, and I wouldn't play it in a higher-caliber deck than the deck I play it in, but it's better than it looks at first glance.

I'm going to play this either on my Serra Angel or on my girlfriends Leatherback Baloth

A decent Aura for Darksteel Sentinel.

This and Lust for War on an opponent's creature during draft was hilarious.

I don't get how people can rate it that highly. Is that some insider-joke I don't get? In specific limited decks it might make sense (if you got a slow control deck and many evasion creatures). But in constructed it's unplayable. And playing it on your opponents creature is nonsense too.

I don't like white auras on creatures your opponent controls. And it's proactive. This means, it doesn't care if YOU are attacked or if the enchanted creature would deal damage. therefore it's more a green card in my opinion. (swap color with Snake Umbra)

Bah.
If you plan to attack and defend for a long enough time for this to make a big difference, it would be a bigger creature than 4 power. And for it to neutralize an attacker an opponent has, it has to have 4 or less power.
Spirit Link is an awesome card to use instead if you thought you liked this. Just, not in standard.
However, with spirit link on an opponent's crit that is swinging for the kill, you will still die, since the trigger would occur after your death; this will save you in that one scenario.

If you're using it on your own creatures, it's crap (life gain aura?!?). If you're using it as a pacifism, then just play freaking Pacifism; it's cheaper than this trash.
