Act of Treason is back again, and it is still really good. I won my second draft round with this in a seemingly impossible board situation. If your opponent has a giant creature out that is beating on you, so much the better :D

As usual, combine with sacrifice effects like Fling to turn it into a damage/removal combo.

4/5

Great variety for a red deck, where a lot of your cards do very similar things.

Behold, the best combo with this card.

Bazaar Trader.

Use Act of Treason, and use Bazaar Trader to give the creature you Acted... to yourself. (It counts as a creature you control).

Since the effect of the Trader is permanent, you essentially gain control of the creature until the end of the game, for less CMC than Mind Control and NO PESKY ENCHANTMENT the opponent can destroy to get his creature back. This is legal, just look at the Trader's rulings.

The best underrated combo ever.

This card has undergone errata.
"Gain control of target titan until end of turn. Untap that titan. It gains haste until end of turn."

A real suprise game closer! Although about half the time I draw it it doesn't get used because of how vulnerable it can leave you... I prefer mind control , or slave of bolas for thier permanence.

If only the Leyline cycle was reprinted. I loved using this in my UR deck with Leyline of Anticipation out. I said "yoink" every time I played it :)

I LOVE this card. I use it in R/U and it fits right in with the blue stealers. It ought to be an instant, or let you steal any permanent, though. I can hear it now: "Surprise! I have a blocker!" although in my deck I'm probably going to attack with the stolen creature anyway.

this card is just Mark of Mutiny and i would rather use that because it give the creature +1/+1. still its always fun to take control of the strongest creature my enemy has, then fling
