This probably isn't a card you can truly build around. However I don't want to underestimate the power level of its utility. Quite a few decks could benefit from creature saccing, and don't necessarily have to rely on it to be effective. If you're running {G}/{B} this can be a great option for what it can do at higher levels. I'm curious to see how this works with undying,

In Commander, Mimeoplasm decks love this since they can fill their graveyard and their hand.

I swear, it's like they went out of their way to make everything in this set good with Ghave.

I really like this card, mostly because I run a G/B morbid deck.

I could always use Disciple of Griselbrand as a sac outlet for life or Altar's Reap for more cards, but Reap isn't repeatable and Life... well, if you're murdering Young Wolf's or zombies from Moan of the Unhallowed, I'd say it's better to get that card than the life.

Although, the biggest problem is it's cost. 4 CMC is a little high. I suppose the price of continuous card draw is either 1 life or 4 mana. At least the colour that benefits most from this isn't blue, the standard drawing colour.

I'd give it 4/5, but the 3.5/5 is righteous.

Why yes, I think I WILL sacrifice my chump blocker before combat damage to draw a card! Thank you!

Great in slower formats, or if you find yourself top-decking while your board position slowly erodes.

At first glance, I misread the artist's name as Vincent Price, lol. This card will find a home in my EDH deck, turn a creature that was going to die anyway into another card to replace it. Seems pretty solid to me.

This actually has a very sophisticated environmental message. See, you sacrifice a Dredge creature, then instead of drawing a card, mill yourself to return that same creature to its owner's hand!

Why? RECYCLING!

Funny, the spiritual predecessor to this card was Blue/White. Seaside Haven
