Up until now, Red is mostly about random discarding due to the piece it gets from the pie. And now they get a good filter that was once Blue, and reusable to boot.

This will be the most wanted common in this set. Like, it will totally find its way into most decks that run Red.

This card is insanely over powered, the only downside to this card is being unable to get a positive effect out of it if its the only card in your hand, but even still if youre running unburial are the likes its 100 times better

this should of been a blue or black card

Better than people expect in red. Sure, it's card disadvantage, but when a red deck is staring at two mountains in its hand and not a single burn spell, it doesn't care one whit about card disadvantage.

This is a great card, but it's not card advantage. It's actually card disadvantage (unless you combine with flashback or madness and the like) because by playing it, even flashing it back, you end up with one card less than you started with. Here's how it goes -
Cast this spell (-1)
Draw two (+1)
Discard two (-1)
Flashback to draw and discard two again (no change, -1)

It's great card quality advantage - you get to pick and choose out of a big range of cards, and in the right decks you can still eke out card advantage. But on it's own, this card is a great example of card disadvantage.

Yes this is card disadvantage. However you can turn it into card advantage using cards that benefit from being in the graveyard like punishing fire and vengevine.

A card that's obviously helped by multiples - "I cast Faithless looting, discarding two Faitless looting!"

Where to begin with this review of THIS card?

Loot faithless everybody! It's like the perfect common. It's sort of strictly better than Careful Study, and I'm still blow away by that. This and desperate ravings have made red card draw sexy again for the first time in a while. The simple fact that it puts cards from your hand in the bin is tremendous... there's some excellent synergy with this card and the cards in standard right now. And that's just standard for goodness sake! God I love this card. I opened up 3 and got 1 more. A wonderful card!

I challenge you to find a deck strategy that uses red that ISN'T infinitely better off with this card. As someone said earlier this card enables SO many strategies including ones that may have previously been unavailable to players mixing in {R}.

How bout {B}/{R} reanimator? Even weirder yet how about {R}/{W} angel reanimator with Defy Death? Opening hand have too many Demigod of Revenges? Loot 'em! {U}/{R} Burning Vengence deck? {R}/{G} graveyard/undying deck with Boneyard Wurm and Wreath of Geists, admittedly {U}/{G} probably works better. That's a pretty diverse set of options.
