Nice. Too bad this thing is overcosted for anything other than casual play.

Errata ruins it's uses with Muraganda Petroglyphs. :-(

I don't know why they didn't debut Hexproof with this block. Thrun and this would have been great poster children for it. Since, you know, Wizards has to put the keywords of a set on an enchantment to grant all creatures/spells/etc said ability. Oh, wait... this isn't an overpriced Blue enchantment and is actually playable. Nevermind, what was I thinking?

Combine this with Mycosynth Lattice, March of the Machines, Darksteel Forge, and Leyline of Sanctity or Witchbane Orb, and you have suddenly become quite hard to kill. Add in Elixer of Immortality and then play Invincible Hymn too for extra good measure, along with a few Rampant Growths, Birds of Paradise, and Primeval Titan for ramp.

The reason that Thrun is the "last troll" is because all the others trolls didn't like his house. And he tried to turn them into clones of him.

I once just horded these because removal and bouncing and other annoying stuff was getting pretty damn annoying. Really great card though, my fatties can now sit on the battlefield in peace <3
Also the regenerate applies to every creature on the battlefield, cool multiplayer politics possibilities.

Horobi, Death's Wail is pure evil with this card.

lol- The Last Troll was Jace. Wizards will make every card suck before they make another trollolol monstrosity like Jace.

Academy Rector btw makes this more playable than Thrun if the need ever rises in formats where she's legal to make your creature army more BAMF.

@AnelDerys

Everything you just said was correct. This card, while awesome in it's own right, is very hard to fit into a deck and even harder to play. In the kind of deck that should play this, I'd much rather prefer something cheaper and more aggressive like Lightning Greaves instead.

I love playing this, I always forget about the Hexproof that it gives my creatures and the regenerate it quite useful if you have tons of mana to spare (as I mostly have when I play this).
