Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.

The card references Flowstone Strike; this spellshaper turns any card in your hand into one! Flowstone was a kind of magically infused substance that could be shaped by powerful beings like liquid and then made harder than steel. Volrath's Stronghold was actually a massive flowstone factory; the flow of flowstone can be seen in the card City of Traitors, the village of cutthroats that exists beneath the stronghold.

the ability is obviously mediocre, but its on a Gray Ogre, so he's fairly average at least. 3/5 seems right.
