Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Blinding Light mechanically and Ivory Guardians in it's art.

The appearance is consistent with Ivory Guardians, though the ability is Blinding Light.

The nuts in pauper.

I gave this a 4, c'mon, it costs as 1. Yes, the Suspend 5 is one of the longer waits in Time Spiral, but it'll be a 3/4 with haste, and taps everyone but its buddies. It's also a nice surprise, as some opponents may forget after a few turns what they have to deal with.

I have a good Suspend deck from this block and it always keeps my opposition on its feet since they have to keep track of 2-3 of my Suspends per turn and change their strategies accordingly. Like it!

He should have swirls on his pectorals, or at least somewhere. What a missed opportunity.

Maybe one of the reasons people don't like this card is due to the fact that it has the potential to eat up the turn 1 aggressive 2/1 drop with no visible benefit until many turns later. But the ability to tap down all of your opponents creatures for a white weenie alpha strike is enticing, and could be very interesting if you plan around it. Also note that this, and all suspend creatures, are immune to Wrath of God while hanging out in the aether, and this giant can be a powerful way to swing a game in your favor, even if your opponent plays creatures post-Wrath.

Somewhat useful in a mono-white. And another one of those cards that'll never get hardcasted.

If you play this with Boros, when it comes down you pretty much win (unless your opponent happens to play a lot of white). Even then, it's a delayed 3/4 for 1. I'll take that.

:/ \: /: :\

I mean...it's a good card....but it's a 3/4 because it had to be because it's a common. this art looks 3/4-ish.

The Modern Masters one looks more like 3/5 or 4/5 though. I kind wish this guy was strong enough to be somewhat imposing looking to Rafiq of the Many. like 4/8. 4/8 would be weird stats. but would be cool.
