It doesn't quite fit the flavor of Ashnod, in my opinion. I would have expected a balanced Greed or Necropotence effect rather than No Mercy. She went to Mishra to learn artifice, not torture. Perhaps non-token permanent sacrificing to draw cards would've fit her better.

Haliax, she went to Mishra to learn artifice but she became a ruthless torturer and she almost always had an agenda. I think this works fine with her flavor.
