okay, here it goes: Beast of Burden gets "bigger" every time a creature comes into play because of the concept behind the Beast of Burden. Karn was ultimately used to extinguish Phyrexia via Urza's Legacy Weapon . The Phyrexians numbered in the billions, I could only imagine, so Karn was 'made' equally ( if not slightly more) powerful than the forces he was up against. He had the responsibility (or burden in this case) to have the destiny of potentially being destroyed for the sake of saving countless worlds from the Phyrexians. This such being (depicted on this print) is a similar construct created to carry the weatherlight as it was growing, ergo the golem's size/power had to equally match the necessity of protecting such an important collection. The Beast of Burden, i believe, is being mistaken for a metaphorical construct that implies offence, not defense as it is intened.

@sixty-seconds
He would be better, unless you plan on playing red and only having 1-2 creatures out at a time.
