Interesting little card, a small insurance policy of types. One nice thing about it is that it works on life loss, not damage. So effects that reduce life would still be manageable by this guy.

if you got 4 Sun Droplets and 4 of these in play, gain eight life for each one damage dealt to you...

The good news is that it only costs 1 mana. The bad news is that its ability is very weak and that it requires an artifact to be in play to even cast it. If your opponent is playing artifacts, your best bet is to play Living Artifact on one of them, as opposed to one of your own. Your adversary is probably not going to waste a Disenchant on Living Artifact played on one of his own artifacts, but you can bet he'll do what he can to destroy the artifact (and the Living Artifact along with it) if it happens to be played on one of your artifacts.
Relying on your opponent to play artifacts is bad deck design, and casting it on your own artifacts is asking for card disadvantage. Also, you can never actually net gain life with this card unless you have more than one of them in play. Living Artifact is neat, but something like Wooden Sphere is actually more reliable.
