Target any color spell/permanent, you say? Thoughtlace. 2 mana, counter or blow up anything you damn well like. Broken enough for you?

I think if it could target any color spell/permanent it may quite possibly be broken :)

Oviously the same as Pyroblast, but has better artwork. Great card, I wouldn't mind taking out a Jace, the Mind Sculptor with it and watch my opponent get "red" in the face. This was the original, Pyroblast was the copycat.

This was worse than Pyroblast. You couldn't use this against non-blue spells even if you had Thoughtlace, because this couldn't target non-blue spells and after Toughtlace has resolved it was too late to counter the spell. Pyroblast on the other hand could target non-blue spells and thus you could cast pyroblast on green spell, Thoughtlace the spell to blue and Pyroblast would counter it.

Now with no interrupts anymore it's just the same.

@A3Kitsune
A devious idea, and one I find quite agreeable

This is a pretty good card, I only wish that it didn't limit itself to only blue cards.
