Definitely not the worst of the Gempalm creatures, unique in that he's actually playable as a creature. Not great, but playable, which cannot be said about any of the other Gempalm creatures.

@jsttu No, I'm saying that none of the other Gempalm creatures are playable as a creature, except this one, which is a Grizzly Bears with a useful type. All the others are overcosted vanilla creatures. The cycle effects range from good (in the case of Gempalm Polluter) to mediocre at best (Gempalm Sorcerer).

@Nagoragama: i disagree, as the black one can be used quite well as a kill condition in a zombie deck. It goes straight to the opponent and hopefully will severely damage them with your zombie horde.

Bear Hug!

I think that instead of a neutered overrun, maybe a mana/ramp ability would have been more unique to the rest of the cycle. "Cycle GreenGreen - Add a Green to your mana pool for each elf" would have been pretty good, yet balanced. Another idea would be for each player to find X lands, X being the elf count. Sort of like New Frontiers. I'll admit I'm a bit iffy on that one though.
