I love the flavor of gaining flying to bust out of the trap.

This could be printed in blue today, with no other changes. Green usually hates on flyers, but blue hates on non-flyers (see Flood, Deluge, Gravitational Shift). Blue is also THE color of Auras that conditionally fall off: Domestication, Illusory Armor, Spectral Prison, Ice Cage, Sleeping Potion, Runner's Bane, Threads of Disloyalty.
