Pirceless in an Artifact/Equipment EDH deck. (Speaking of prices, I remember when this card was pushing $90...I just got a playset of them for $20 lol.)

In an artifact deck, this is better than Hanna, Ship's Navigator in almost every way. A little more limited though.

This isn't half bad. Maybe we could see a (functional?) reprint in a later deck as part of a cycle, with a Green Palaeontologist who returns creatures?

(If you're thinking "but what about Black Lotus" remember that those powerful cards in earlier sets didn't become expensive chase cards until after the set was out of print.)
