It wasn't a matter of hosing orcs as much as an attempt at some fun flavor.

Not sure how well it turned out on either front.

Technically not terrible since back than a 2/1 red creature for 1R wasn't that bad. It's ability is just plain awful. If only it worked against Goblins as well! But since Dwarves and Orcs are both basically extinct in Magic today, I guess nobody really won this ancient war.

I wish more animosity were present between creature types. The whole dwarf / orc feud didn't really pan out, I think, because they were in the same color. Maybe goblins and elves and vampires and clerics or something.

2 mana 2/1. Which will never be blocked by orcs. Decent anyway.

Did orcs really need hosers?

5 stars. If you are wondering why, you have not seen the Rankin-Baas animated version of 'The Hobbit', and you need to put down your Magic cards and go watch that right away. Or if you are too lazy to do that-

The dwarf on the right looks like Thorin OakenSHIELD (shape of the nose is same as in cartoon!) crossed with Nick Fury. Hence 5 stars.
