This card is so good. If he's the only flier up there he can push through a ton of damage.

Particularly dangerous defending against flying, or attacking with a Rage Reflection out.
To be honest, I just love this little guy's flavor text. The fact that he's decent is just icing on the cake.

You only play creatures that have 5+ toughness? So you can protect against Shock, Incinerate, Lightning Bolt, Flame Slash, and so forth? I bet you're pro though, you probably only play creatures that survive Doom Blades.

I'm sorry, but this guy gets killed by Shock. Dragon Whelp gets killed by Lightning Bolt. And sometimes itself, but lots of self-respecting red beaters die for some inexplicable reason during the end step. He's good. He's just not Hero of Oxid Ridge or Avalanche Riders good.
And then, thanks to Dismember, not even 5 toughness is safe. And actually, ignitenice, I DO play things that survive Doom Blade. Like Neurok Commando.

@Dacen You complain that this guy dies to Shock, and hold up Hero of Oxid Ridge as an alternative, but the Hero dies to Shock too. If we never played anything that could be killed by anything, we'd never play anything at all, because everything dies to something. Would you tell me Ball Lightning isn't good because it dies to Hornet Sting?
