At the prerelease, I had Goldnight Commander, Riot Ringleader, Banners Raised, and Kruin Striker in my deck along with this.

There were some very lethal turns thanks to those three little guys.

Very reminiscent of Waylay. The creatures are smaller, but that's because the waylay tokens were never meant to be used on offense.

Way underrated card by most. The most impressive thing about this is its element of surprise: you're getting three hasty humans for one card when their army's all tapped out. Then you just equip/soulbond/intangible virtue till they hit hard!

I love that it says to sacrifice the tokens, not to exile them. That makes all the difference in the world. It causes Unruly Mob to pump because technically they are dying humans. Also, this card is ridiculous with Goldnight Commander, Champion of the Parish, Unruly Mob, and Vigilante Justice.

Assuming you have each of those cards on the table, all as of yet unused, this one card turns the Champion into a 4/4 w/ a +3/+3 buff until end of turn (7/7 essentially), the Unruly Mob into a 4/4 until end of turn which becomes a permanent 4/4, nukes the opponent for 3, and creates 3 4/4 hasty tasty treats, and the Goldnight becomes a 5/5. That's kind of ridiculous but that's R/W for ya.

Also, there are other cards in the block (in black or red) and whose names I cannot recall that have a specific trigger for whenever a creature is sacrificed. Or maybe that was back in Alara....I can't real... (see all)

Thought it would be pretty good - used it at the pre-release, it's out of control. With Goldnight Commander, or even Riot Ringleader, you can evaporate your opponent in one swing. Easy high pick.

AMAZINGLY underrated card. Now Boros Humans can win third-turn!

Turn 1: Plains, Champion of the Parish
Turn 2: Plains, Champion of the Parish, Champion of the Parish. Attack with the first one (which is now a 3/3). Opponent goes to 17
Turn 3: Mountain, this card. You now have a 6/6, a 5/5, a 4/4, and 3 1/1s. If you attack with everything that's 18 damage, and your opponent would have lost.

Anyway, if you want to, you can save the tokens from sacrifice with Sundial of the Infinite.

I didn't see any uses for this card outside of Falkenrath Aristocrat. It seems I was very short sighted.

Why wasn't this ever played in top tier Blood Artist decks? The swing for three, gain three, lose three for 3cmc on turn three seems pretty insanely powerful (and three oriented. Maybe Jim Carrey could star in a movie about it).

You don't even get to keep the tokens. Also it's a sorcery so no combat tricks. 2/5
