How does a horse ride a horse? This makes me want to make a deck with nothing but horses riding horses.

I want to play this card just so that I can see everything riding a horse. Just imagine Ermakul, the Aeons Torn cruising in on a majestic stallion.

@Evil_Tactics: It's a pity they didn't include any legends from Legends. Granted that most of them sucked, and even the cool ones were often pretty generic by modern standards (Adun Oakenshield, say; Angus Mackenzie is very usable but probably bad for the game.)

Rasputin Dreamweaver would have been nice, though -- he's an interesting card that almost no modern players have ever gotten to play. Hazezon Tamar is cool, too, if a bit overpriced.

Unfortunately they're probably all on the reserved list, now that I think about it. Why doesn't WotC just remove everything but the Power Nine from that list? Do they really think anyone still cares?

Put him in a sliver deck... Along with Galerider Sliver.

Now they'll need to block flying slivers that are riding horses. It might not be as efficient as Shifting Sliver, but it's 100 times more awesome, and that's all that matters.

They didn't "Bring back horesmanship". This is the From the Vault set. These are merely collector's editions of already printed cards. None of these cards are legal anthing but the eternal formats.

@ pedrodyl

Yes it was an obscure choice, but a good choice nonetheless.

I don't think anyone would have wanted another Alara legend thrown in place. It's horrible how many recent legends there are in this set. From the Vault my butt, only like 3-4 could be arguably "From the Vault". Plus adding in Rafiq was a horrible choice, the artist was practically forced to create art that could never live up to the original, double fail.

They needed to put in more obscure older legends like Sun Quan to make it feel From the Vault. Sisay and Visara were nice additions too, and arguably Kiki-Jiki is old enough, but the rest are too recent (not counting Mikaeus for obvious reasons).
