All decks (yes, even EDH decks) need utility, and this is a darn good utility creature. 2/2 for 
? Reach? Proliferatable? Buff things that really need it or reach? Grant reach to any one of your beasties running around with counters? Sign me up.

First of all, it's a grizzly bear that can't be proliferated to death after a single -1/-1 counter.
Second of all it has grafting, and useful and versatile ability.
Finally, It gives guys reach that have counters on them, which is not difficult to accomplish.
Overall, a versatile card.

I like. Run with Animar, Soul of Elements and other +1/+1 counter-gaining creatures, and add some proliferate to your deck.
