Worse than Peek? Better than Peek? Peek can deck you immediately. This waits till the nearest upkeep. Situationally better or worse I guess, but I prefer Gitaxian Probe because it can be cast for free.

It seems in Blue, slowtrips cost {B} only even in Ice Age... Everything else got {2} nailed on it even for very mediocre effects...
