1st turn: Forest, Llanowar Elf
2nd turn: Mountain, tap Elf for mana, cast Horned Kavu & cast Elf again.
From there you can still cast a 3rd turn Bloodbraid Elf.
You might even consider running Violent Outburst in such a deck to get more Kavus or maybe Colossal might.

Great creature. By itself, it's a solid 3/4 on second turn. It's easy to just bounce and immediately replay something like Llanowar Elves or Birds of Paradise. Although, with the Birds, Woolly Thoctar is a better option.
This card becomes excellent with Pandemonium, and adding Aluren to the mix causes instant win.

One of the few old creatures that still holds its own. A great value, and the recursion is in fact a bonus if you know how to swing it.
