I'm surprised that we got the white thallid but not the black Deathspore Thallid.

If your playing fungi, play this guy, a 2/4 for 4 that makes tokens is nice, but +1/+1 to most of your army is very nice, especially when you can make and sac the tokens at instant speed.

Battle Cattle did a good job in limited. A Cattle that can make saprolings and buffs other thallids sounds great.

Hard to believe that this is common in Modern Masters. I just opened two boxes (48 boosters) worth of Modern Masters and no Pallid Mycoderm. No Zombie token nor emblem either.
