I threw one in a Jokulhaups deck on a whim, and drew it in each of the next three games. I was ALWAYS happy to see it.
I kept a hand with this and just two land, but I didn't miss a land drop.
Then I would use it to recover quickly after I washed the world away.

The ability to use it at the end of your opponent's turn AND during your next upkeep is crazy.

It is a solid card for a deck that needs to hunt without having blue. This is a bit of card quantity disadvantage, but it makes up for it in spades with card quality advantage.

A nice little filter. Not sure it had to be indestructible, but that's just icing on the cake really.

Seems like a Sensei's Divining Top that won't set you back 20$. I like.

It's possible they used this as a way to test the power of the scry mechanic before releasing it, you know.

Not the best artifact ever of course, but pretty decent for its mana cost and rarity.

Combines well with decks that focus on mass destruction and need to scry through the library to prevent redundant draws.

Also makes a nice 2/2 indestructible creature when combined with March of the Machines.

Keeps the manaflood at bay and it's indestructible artifact count.

Hmmm....wonder why the Oracle text doesn't say "Scry 1" instead....

Shouldn't the oracle have this say Scry 1?
