The only mono-red cards that either have a regenerate ability that does not use another color of mana, or grant one, are...Eron the Relentless, Uthden Troll, this and another aura Goblin Chirurgeon.

How about red cards that require other colors to activate a regenerate ability?
Keldon Mantle has Black: regenerate.
Orcish Healer can regenerate black or green creatures but require those colors to activate.
Sedge Sliver gives all Slivers Black: regenerate.
Skeletonize basically gives you a Dredge Skeletons token.
Viashino Skeleton costs 1Red and a discard to regenerate. Ouch.

Perhaps this is because red's allied colors black and green have much more regeneration effects available.

Back in 4th edition this was quite good. Weaker then Regenerate sure, but dropping on your Dragon Whelp in Mono Red was quite the play!
